Silvercraft Tray, Powder Jar and Candlesticks Set

This stunning antique vanity dresser set is a remarkable collaboration between Silvercraft of New York City and the renowned glassmakers Heisey. The set features a collection of beautifully coordinated pieces, including a large tray, a lidded jewelry jar, and an elegant pair of candlesticks. Each component is adorned with intricate gilded filigree and vibrant jewels in hues of red, green, and purple, creating a luxurious and cohesive design.

The tray, measuring approximately 17 3/4 inches by 10 7/8 inches, serves as the centerpiece of the set. It is adorned with elaborate filigree detailing that perfectly complements the jeweled accents. The candlesticks, standing at 7 inches tall, echo the tray’s ornate design, their bases decorated with the same vibrant stones and intricate metalwork. The lidded jewelry jar, measuring about 5 3/4 inches at its widest point, features a beautifully jeweled and filigree-covered lid, pairing elegantly with the clear, gleaming glass base. The base is marked with Heisey's iconic "H" within a diamond, a testament to its authenticity and craftsmanship.

Each gilded and jeweled metal piece bears the Silvercraft hallmark, ensuring its provenance and high-quality production. The entire set is in excellent estate condition, with only a minute fleck on the base of the lidded jar, smaller than a pinhead, which does not detract from its overall beauty. This dresser set exemplifies the elegance of early 20th-century design, combining Silvercraft's intricate metalwork with Heisey's renowned glass artistry, making it a true treasure for collectors or those seeking vintage elegance.

Fenton Boxtle with Jeweled Mounts

Rare glass perfume bottle and powder jar with a jeweled brass filigree frame.
This is referred to as a Boxtle because the perfume bottle and with jeweled stopper is part of the lid that covers the powder jar on the bottom.

The brass ring that the powder portion sits in, is embellished with different colored faceted and bezel set glass stones. The colors of the glass stones are red, blue & green. These stacked sets were made by Fenton in the 1920s and 30s but, the jeweled filigree metal decoration takes it to another level and you rarely see them.
